SPAM Herb Garden

As SPAM month comes to a close, I am left with several empty SPAM cans.  I thought the cans were really cute and did not want to throw them away.  I decided to use them as planters.  The cans are just the right size to fit on my kitchen windowsill.  So far I have planted basil, parsley, and chives to create a little kitchen herb garden

I love cooking with fresh herbs and I am really excited that now instead of going to the grocery store for them, I can just walk over to the window and pick what I need.  I plan to use some of the basil to make my Italian Pinwheel recipe.

Do you have an herb garden?

On Friday, I will be posting my
Slow Cooker Cherry Dump Dessert

  8. Funny, none of your commenters had anythig to say about the Sapm itself. Hmmm, what does that mean? Do did you actually eat the Spam from these cans. Oh, nevermind, I see from your archive there are Spam recipes. I'm excited.
