Travel Tip & South Africa II

I hate to iron, but I don't want to wear clothes that look like I slept in them.  So when I travel I pack wrinkle release spray.  Upon arriving at our destination, I unpack and hang up my clothes.  I spray them with wrinkle release and smooth out the wrinkles.  It is so easy and quick and will have you looking wrinkle free with very little effort.

The wrinkle release spray also works great on tablecloths.  No need to iron.  Just spray it on and give it a little stretch, and the wrinkles will vanish! 

One of the highlights of our trip to South Africa, was attending a real Braai.  Braai is Afrikaans (one of the languages spoken in South Africa) for barbeque.  The meat and chicken is grilled over a wood fire.

Lucy's dessert was the hit of the Braai.  She made a Malva Pudding, and my husband kept going back for more and more of this delicious dessert.

The Malva Pudding was served warm with custard poured over top.

  2. I would give anything for the smell of a braai and some borewors cooking......... mmmmmmmmmm. Malva pudding is similar to my Cape Brandy pudding, time I made another one.

    As for wrinkle release, I have never heard of it, perfect for travel by the sound of it. Diane

    1. I was so excited to attend a real braai. Most of my friends in South Africa now use a gas grill, just like we do in the US.
